Historical Exhibits at Greeley History Museum
The Greeley History Museum is hosting two notable exhibits:
- A Great Frontier Odyssey: Sketching the American West – This exhibit follows artists Jules Tavernier and Paul Frenzeny on their 1873 journey to capture the American West through engravings. It runs until May 24, 2026.
- Home News: A Greeley View of the Nation’s Centennial – Opening on April 3, 2026, this exhibit explores the year 1876 through the eyes of Greeley, highlighting the city’s perspective during America’s centennial year. It will be available until March 14, 2027.
Centennial Village Museum’s 50th Anniversary
Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the Centennial Village Museum offers hands-on history and events. The season kicks off with Baby Animal Days on April 25 and 26, featuring baby animals, horse-drawn wagon rides, a mini-Farmers’ Market, crafts, and demonstrations.
America 250 – Colorado 150 Passport Program
Greeley participates in the America 250 – Colorado 150 passport program, a free, mobile-exclusive initiative encouraging exploration of historical sites across the state. Participants can earn rewards and have a chance to win travel prizes.
